What we collect
Contact form: your name, email address, optional company name, topic and message. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. They arrive as an email to our inbox and are not added to any marketing list.
Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider briefly logs technical data such as IP addresses and pages requested, to run the site, prevent abuse and fix problems.
Cookies
The pages of this site set no cookies. The contact page uses a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie so the form can be submitted safely; they are not used for tracking. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts.
Sharing and retention
We don't sell or share your information. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and our business records, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short time by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@smarttek.ca. Depending on where you live (for example under PIPEDA, the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have further rights and can contact your data protection authority.

If this notice changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
